Avoid Denial. If you can’t own a failure then you can’t make it right. No breakthrough in your life will occur if you remain in denial about your reality.
Our understanding of the world is shaped by a hunger for narratives that rises out of our discomfort with ambiguity and arbitrary events. When surprising things happen, we search for an explanation and meaning. We tend to not examine the slow progress of experiences upon our narratives.
I believe successful people learn knowledge, skills, and attitudes in unconventional ways that help them target and structure relevant information to maximize their energy while they learn from their failures, moving rapidly toward their goals. In other words, successful people are not only good learners, but they are perceptive, discerning and deliberate learners.
